Things that are required for Custom Building PC / Desktop / Gaming PC / Creators PC:
1. Mother board Size
There are
different sizes of motherboards. The two best suited sizes are mentioned below.
The larger the size of the motherboard more components are embedded and prices
increases proportionally.
1. ATX
2. Micro ATX
Motherboard Chipset
Chipset models provides the
support for either AMD or Intel. AMD compactable Chipsets are more affordable
and AMD processors are affordable with higher configurations.
Motherboard Supporting: M.2 slot
M.2 slots allows to use the
latest storage technology, with transfer rate Approx. 600 time than SSD's. Read
More about M.2 Slots, what else these slots are used for.
2. Processor
Selecting based on the
requirement, where the all the activities of CPU workload is happening.
Selection is based on the purpose of activity like,
Basic - AMD Ryzen 3
Moderate - AMD Ryzen 5
Gamming or Creative - AMD Ryzen 7
or AMD Ryzen 9
3. GPU - Graphics Card
The general-purpose Motherboard
chipsets have built-in graphics card for performing basic operations. The
recommend GPU is of 4GB for moderate usages and necessary is 2GB GPU for basic
4. RAM
Choosing the right RAM helps in
supporting the processor. The motherboard must support higher versions to help
in upgrading in future. Recommendation is on 8 GB or 16 GB or 32 GB, based on simple,
moderate and medium usages.
5. Case - Cabinet Case
Choosing the right case helps in
keeping the CPU cooler and allowing more airflow into the Case. Some Popular
choices are Mid Tower. Full Tower mainly for extreme Gaming and Compact
Tower is mostly a stylish look.
Choices are more in to how many
CPU fans can be installed to keep the case cooler as much as possible.
6. Power Supply
The choosing Power supply will allow the options to power the Mother board, CPU, FANS, GPU, HDD, SSD. They points are looked into as power efficiency - Bronze, Silver and Gold. These tell the power loss percentage and efficiency.
The wattage power is chosen based on the power supply required for the selected components. Recommendation is required + 100 W extra to be chose and standard recommendation is about 650w.
7. Monitor
Choosing right size makes productivity much easier and convenient. 60Hz to 75Hz to 144Hz to 170Hz Refresh Rate and response rate 5msec to 1msec. These specs higher the refresh rate more the cost and lesser response rate more the cost.
Assembling the components:
Look into more YouTube videos to understand, the comments and connecting each Power supply connectors. Connecting front panel connectors. Below are some links to look into.
